Is this accurate enough for me?
The 779T reaches professional levels of vial accuracy at <0.0005"/". It is appropriate for professional and home improvement jobs.
What is a torpedo level used for?
Torpedo levels are best suited to quickly checking if smaller surfaces such as cabinets or windows are level. If you are leveling longer areas, such as the entirety of a room or sections of a roof, get a level longer than 72".
How do I care for my spirit level?
Store them vertically by the hang hole or in a case. Don't drop them, place heavy items on top of them, or submerge them in water. To clean them, wipe with a damp cloth instead.
